We exist to worship God, make disciples of Jesus Christ, and serve our neighbours in High Wycombe and beyond. As Seventh-day Adventists, we believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, that Jesus is coming again soon, and that the Sabbath is God's gift of rest for all humanity.

What We Believe
The Seventh-day Adventist Church holds 28 fundamental beliefs rooted in Scripture. Here are some that shape our daily walk.
The Bible
The Holy Scriptures are God's inspired Word — our final authority in matters of faith and practice.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is coming again.
The Sabbath
The seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) is God's gift of rest and worship, established at creation.
Baptism
Baptism by immersion is a public declaration of faith in Jesus, symbolising death to sin and new life in Christ.
Healthy Living
Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. We honour God by caring for our physical, mental, and spiritual health.
The Second Coming
Jesus' return is the blessed hope of every Christian — a literal, personal, visible event that will transform the world.
A Brief History
The Seventh-day Adventist Church officially began in 1863, growing from the great Advent awakening of the 1840s. Today, we are a global family of over 22 million members in more than 200 countries.
Wycombe Community SDA Church has been a faithful witness in High Wycombe for many years, growing from a small group of believers into a vibrant multi-cultural family. We are part of the South England Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Our congregation reflects the rich diversity of High Wycombe — people of every background worshipping together as one family in Christ. Through the years, we have established community outreach programmes like Bread of Life and Warm Space, sharing God's love in practical ways.
